Greystar Opens Luxury Community in FL
The company has added 286 units to its portfolio. The property is located in the Rosemary District of Sarasota, Fla.

Greystar has opened Elan Rosemary, a 286-unit luxury community in Sarasota, Fla. The property started pre-leasing in December 2017 and is currently 61 percent occupied/pre-leased, Yardi Matrix data shows.
Situated at 710 N. Lemon Ave., the property is at the corner of Boulevard of Arts and Lemon Avenue in the Rosemary District, approximately 1 mile from downtown Sarasota. Additionally, the community is located around 4 miles from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. The newly developed property encompasses a mix of studios, one- and two-bedroom units, averaging 938 square feet. The units feature stainless steel appliances, French-door refrigerators, wood-style flooring, quartz countertops and tile backsplashes. Communal area amenities include:

“We are thrilled to offer a new living option in downtown Sarasota,” said Lewis Stoneburner, managing director of development for Greystar, in prepared remarks. “Elan Rosemary offers great amenities and contemporary apartment homes close to spectacular white-sand beaches, local restaurants, shopping destinations and nearby employers.”
In April, the firm traded a four-property portfolio totaling 1,616 units located in South Florida. The portfolio’s value was $240 million, according to Yardi Matrix.
