The Related Group’s newest luxury project, dubbed Icon Las Olas, is slated to open next month in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Developers broke ground on the 272-unit apartment tower in February 2015 and pre-leasing at the property launched this summer in June.

Developed by Moss & Associates for a joint venture partnership between The Related Group, Rabina Partners and Perella Weinberg Partners and designed by Sieger Suarez Architects, Icon Las Olas features residences ranging from one- to three-bedroom units.

Located at 590 E. Las Olas Blvd., the 45-story rental building provides tenants with community amenities including:

  • a fitness center with Pilates and spinning studio,
  • a club room with a fully equipped kitchen,
  • an infinity-edge pool,
  • a party room with built-in bar and catering kitchen,
  • a wireless business center

Additionally, tenants will enjoy access to:

  • an enclosed, controlled-access parking garage,
  • 24-hour concierge staff,
  • a sky terrace on the 44th floor with an outdoor lounge area and dipping pool,
  • a 24-hour valet,
  • a wine tasting salon

Expansive layouts

Apartment units at Icon Las Olas encompass between 960 square feet and 2,000 square feet and feature 9-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, walk-in closets, Bosch appliance packages, contemporary Italian cabinetry in kitchens and bathrooms, as well as outdoor terraces. Rental rates range from $2,500 to $7,000.

The luxury residence offers access to numerous retail, dining and entertainment options, along with art, culture and music venues, qualifying it as a “live-work-play” environment. This isn’t The Related Group’s first project underway in the region. CityPlace Doral, a mixed-use urban center in Doral, Fla., welcomed its first tenants in March as part of a master-planned community boasting a variety of shops, dining and entertainment destinations with apartments, condos and single-family homes.
