FirstService Acquires Property Management Company

FirstService Residential has acquired CitiScape Property Management Group.

The deal, which recently closed, includes FirstService’s assumption of CitiScape’s 155 residential and commercial clients, totaling 7,500 residential homes and 430 commercial properties.

The purchase price and other financial details could not immediately be disclosed.

Company history

CitiScape provides residential and commercial association management services in the San Francisco market. FirstService, in a statement, said the addition enhances its scale and leadership bench strength. Citiscape was founded in 1999.

FirstService Residential, which is owned by publicly-traded FirstService Corp., manages properties across the U.S., as well as in Canada. Programs like FirstService Financial, FirstService Energy and special districts teams offer additional support to the company’s clients.
