FCP Buys Suburban Atlanta Community
The acquisition of the 380-unit property in Smyrna, Ga., marks the company's 20th investment in the metro.
FCP has acquired a 380-unit community in Atlanta’s North Vinings submarket. The purchase of Wyndcliff Apartments marks FCP’s 20th investment in the metro. CBRE represented the seller, Related Cos., in the transaction.
The property in Smyrna, Ga., last changed hands in 2015, Yardi Matrix data shows.
The property located at 2350 Cobb Parkway SE, features one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with floorplans ranging from 700 to 1,102 square feet. The 40-building community opened its doors in 1978 and has a business center, fitness center, swimming pool, sports complex, playground and dog park.
The community is a mile from Truist Park stadium, surrounded by various shopping, dining and entertainment options. The property is also within a mile of the interchange between interstates 75 and 285, offering direct access 14 miles southeast into downtown Atlanta.
Keith Geiger, vice president for CBRE’s Multifamily Middle Markets team, led representation of the seller. In June, Geiger also spearheaded the $41 million disposition of a 222-unit Smyrna community.
