Elder Care Alliance Acquires Senior Community in California
The property sits on a 4.5-acre campus, a historic mid-century gem located 20 miles south of San Francisco and 15 miles north of Palo Alto.
Alameda, Calif.—Elder Care Alliance recently announced the acquisition of The Villa at San Mateo, a 135-unit apartment community for seniors. The community marks the first acquisition of an existing community by Elder Care Alliance, California based nonprofit organization that has a more than 100-year history of serving and enriching the holistic wellness of older adults.
“Elder Care Alliance is excited to welcome The Villa at San Mateo into our family. With its rich history and unique offerings, it is a vibrant community for older adults. We are extremely pleased to expand our footprint in the San Francisco Bay Area and offer more affordable independent living options for older adults,” Adriene Iverson, president and CEO of Elder Care Alliance, said in a statement.
The property sits on a 4.5-acre campus, a historic mid-century gem located 20 miles south of San Francisco and 15 miles north of Palo Alto. Elder Care Alliance now serves more than 660 residents on five campuses throughout California.
Elder Care Alliance’s acquisition of The Villa at San Mateo was made in cooperation with Rockwood Pacific, CBRE and HJ Sims.
