D’Agostino Cos. has broken ground on the 300-unit The Reserve at Cypress in Cypress, Texas. JLL acted on behalf of the developer in June 2021 to acquire the plot. Soon after, Oden Hughes Taylor commenced work on the project, which is slated for completion early next year.

The community is set to encompass a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units, averaging 964 square feet. Plans call for unit interiors to include full-size washers and dryers, and high-end finishes. The property will also feature a pool, outdoor dining and entertainment areas, and fitness center.

Located 20130 Schiel Road, The Reserve at Cypress will be some 32 miles northwest of downtown Houston, roughly 6 miles of Cypress Towne Center, and 3 miles northeast of Fairfield Town Center. Other shopping, dining and entertainment options will be within a 2-mile radius.

This development is the company’s third in Texas since starting its multifamily division back in 2018. The Reserve at Baybrook in Friendswood is the firm’s second project, and it includes 291 units that are slated for delivery this spring. D’Agostino’s first multifamily project was The Reserve at City Place, a garden-style property in Conroe. Catering to growing multifamily demand across the state, the company has two other projects in the planning stages in Texas.
