Boston–CWCapital is expanding its national multifamily lending platform through the hiring of Allan Edelson, senior vice president, and the establishment of a new lending office in Chicago.
Most recently, Edelson worked with Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage (DBBM) where he originated approximately 540 loans totaling $7.65 billion. Edelson’s areas of expertise include structured transactions, portfolio transactions, and affordable and senior housing finance.
In July, CW established a West Coast platform by acquiring the assets of Sierra Capital Partners in Irvine, Calif. It has since added staff to this platform including the hiring of Tom Meunier in November, Tammi Warner in December, and Trevor Fase.
Allan Edelson says, “Joining CW is a tremendous opportunity for me. Their platform is very solid, their entrepreneurial approach is very appealing, and I have great respect for the management, staff, and the vision they hold. I am confident I can add value to this platform while also benefitting from its existing success.”
