Conor Commercial Real Estate has begun construction on its latest multifamily project in the Dallas metro. Plans for The Flynn at Live Oak were initially unveiled by Conor Commercial and joint venture partners Globe Corp. and Origin Investments in October. The project secured a $48.5 million loan from Wintrust Bank in July, according to Yardi Matrix data.
Merriman Anderson Architects were hired to design The Flynn at Live Oak, while Cadence McShane was tasked with building the community. The developer is expecting to open The Flynn at Live Oak in spring 2025. Once the property is completed, Greystar will be in charge of managing the community.
The Flynn at Live Oak will offer 327 units in studio and one- and two-bed floorplans. Conor Commercial plans to include oversized balconies or ground-floor patios with direct pedestrian access to the street. Community amenities will include a coworking space, fitness center, clubroom, fireplace, bar, dog park, pool, an outdoor dining and grilling area and two landscaped courtyards.
The building plans also call for an onsite mini-market grocer, as well as a speakeasy on the top floor of the community. Located at 4931 Live Oak St., residents will also be within walking distance to downtown Dallas’ restaurants and nightlife along Henderson and Greenville Avenues.
