New York—Higher prices aren’t scaring away buyers in New York, much to the delight of property managers. In fact, the Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group recently announced sales over $59 million at 515 East 72, a luxury condo building on the Upper East Side. The secret might be not just to appeal to adults, but to appeal to their children as well.

The building contains 330 renovated units, including studios; one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units; and a five-bedroom penthouse. Prices range from $699,000 to $12.325 million.

Buyers are attracted to high-quality and luxury amenities, according to Elaine Diratz, managing director at Corcoran.

“We’ve seen a surge of buyers seeking high-level services and amenities in condominium buildings,” she said in a press statement. “They are striving to incorporate more into their busy days, and 515 East 72 provides time-saving amenities such as a fitness center, spa and half-acre park under one roof.”

Other amenities include an on-site valet garage, porters, housekeeping and a concierge.

Additionally, 515 East 72 provides a children’s gym called Jodi’s Gym, which hosts Mommy and Me classes, preschool gymnastics, tumbling and a summer program. Other amenities for children include a recreation room and a creative art studio.

“The building appeals to a broad audience with diverse interests,” Diratz said.
