CMC Group JV Breaks Ground on Miami Luxury Condos


With two-thirds of units already sold, prices range from $1.8 million to $9.5 million.

Ugo Colombo of CMC Group and Valerio Morabito of Morabito Properties have broken ground on the luxury 41-unit Onda in Miami’s Bay Harbor. The eight-story waterfront condominium tower is expected to deliver in 2023.

Onda will offer two- to four-bedroom floorplans ranging from 1,809 to 3,525 square feet and four penthouses up to 5,073 square feet. Units will feature private and semi-private elevators, high-end finishes and appliances and offices or dens. Planned amenities include a private marina, a watersports launch dock, a pool, a fitness center and a spa. Prices range from $1.8 million to more than $9.5 million, and more than 60 percent of the condos have already been sold.

Located at 1135 103rd St., the property will be 2 miles north of Miami Beach and less that 1 mile north of Indian Creek Island. Bal Harbour Shops is 1 mile southeast, while Kane Concourse, which offers easy access to downtown Miami, is less than half a mile south. The walkable Bay Harbor offers a good number of restaurants, shops, parks and green space.

The boutique condominium project is designed by Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica, with Carlo and Paolo Colombo of A++ Human Sustainable Architecture overseeing interiors and Enzo Enea of Garden Design in charge of landscaping. Fortune Development Sales manages sales and marketing.

CMC Group, an active developer in South Florida, is also behind Brickell Flatiron, a 64-story luxury tower referred to as the tallest condo building south of New York.
