Holliday Fenoglio Fowler has recently announced that it has arranged $230 million in financing for The Breakers Resort in Denver. Working exclusively on behalf of The Bascom Group LLC, the borrower, the HFF team secured a $165 million first mortgage, a floating-rate loan which includes a three-year term with two, one-year extension options provided through Bank of America and CIBC.

McCandless Crossing Development in Suburban Pittsburgh Adds New Tenants
AdVenture Development LLC is about to break ground on the fourth phase of the McCandless Crossing 1.2 million-square-foot mixed-use development in Pittsburgh’s suburban North Hills. According to the Pittsburgh Business Times, three new restaurants and a new store have committed to the town center portion of the approximately $100 million master plan.
The latest additions to the project include what would become the region’s first Carrabba’s Italian Grill, as well as a Bonefish Grill location, a Longhorn Steakhouse and home furnishings retailer Home Goods.
East Harlem Center for Living and Learning Breaks Ground
Ground has been broken on East Harlem Center for Living and Learning, a new 151,000-square-foot mixed-use development to offer 88 affordable apartments, a 58,000-square-foot K-8 charter school and more than 6,000 square feet of office space to be used by not-for-profit organizations.
BEMT Invests in 24-Story Mixed-Use Luxury Rental Community
Bluerock Enhanced Multifamily Trust has recently announced its investment in MDA City Apartments, a mixed-use luxury rental community in downtown Chicago. The New York-based non-traded real estate investment trust has partnered with Village Green, the owner of the 24-story building. Village Green is an owner / operator with a portfolio of around 40,000 units in 13 states.
Mill Creek Residential Announces New Glendale Luxury Apartment Community
Located at 610, N, Central Avenue, the site will be the home of a new, six-story, mid-rise, high-end apartment structure, one of the first properties of its kind for the developer. Resident amenities will include an underground parking facility, a resort-style pool and spa, an around-the-clock fitness center and yoga facility, a resident clubroom featuring a kitchen and business center, as well as two rooftop decks offering views of the nearby Verdugo Mountains.
