CIM Group Completes 2 LA Communities

CIM Group has finished the development of a 50-unit development in Silver Lake near East Hollywood. The firm also delivered Elevate, the second phase of a three-phase development in West Los Angeles.

CIM Group has completed the construction of The Dillon, a 50-unit community in Los Angeles. The property designed by Loha Architects is situated on a narrow infill lot in Silver Lake, near Echo Park and East Hollywood neighborhoods. The firm also delivered Elevate, a 147-unit mixed-use development in West Los Angeles.

Located at 617 N. Dillon St., the community is just off Silver Lake Boulevard, near the Hollywood Freeway, approximately 3 miles from downtown Los Angeles and 18 miles from Los Angeles International Airport. Additionally, the community is situated close to Sunset Boulevard, which offers many dining, shopping and entertainment options.

The newly constructed property comprises a mix of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom units featuring stainless steel kitchen appliances and in-unit vented washer and dryer. Additionally, the apartments include finishes such as hardwood floors and quartz countertops. Other characteristics include keyless electronic door lock with optional smartphone-enabled access. Communal area amenities include a fitness center, a yoga studio, bike storage room, a dog washing station, to name a few.

Santa Monica property

The West Los Angeles property is situated at 1515 S. Granville Ave., just off Santa Monica Boulevard, approximately 14 miles from the city’s downtown. The property marks the second phase of a three-phase development positioned on a 2.6-acre lot.

The Elevate encompasses studios, one- and three-bedroom units and three live/work spaces. Communal-area amenities include a gym, a clubhouse and game room, a pool deck, outdoor terraces and subterranean parking spaces. Additionally, the development features 42,000-square-foot ground floor retail space, housing Target and a Healthy Spot pet store.

In November 2018, CIM Group broke ground on the final phase of the West Los Angeles development, which will comprise a total of 154 apartments and 16,600 square feet of retail. The building is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
