Charlotte, NC—Despite a surge in the number of new Charlotte apartments, rental growth still outpaces the national average. As one of the fastest-growing cities in the US, Charlotte constantly attracts new residents. Growth in employment opportunities in Charlotte’s top industries dictates a rapid pace and 2015 saw the completion of more than 4,600 new apartments in communities with over 50 units.
Statistics from Yardi Matrix confirm the upmarket focus of new developments in the city. The average rent in Charlotte is currently $1,052, but new apartments completed since 2010 fetch $1,476 monthly on average. Let’s take a closer look at some of the biggest developments to open their doors in 2015.
