Carter Announces Multi-family Development Near Boise State Named Vista
Carter announced its multifamily development near Boise State University will be named Vista.
Boise, Idaho–Carter announced its multifamily development near Boise State University will be named Vista. The 236-unit development is located less than half a mile from the university, with sites at 1570 South Lusk Place and 1105 South La Pointe Street. The leasing center is scheduled to open Oct. 30, and is located next door to Cheerleaders Sports Bar and Grill at 815 W Ann Morrison Park Drive.
Vista West, a 126-unit site on South Lusk Place, includes studio, two- and four-bedroom apartments. Vista East, a 110-unit site located a quarter-mile away on South La Pointe Street, is a mix of studio, one- two- and three-bedroom units. Completion is scheduled for summer 2015, ahead of the 2015-16 academic term.
Residents will have access to both buildings with Class A finishes throughout, private bathrooms in each bedroom, private clubrooms and fitness centers, game rooms, computer labs, hot tubs, bicycle parking, tanning bed, dog walk area and other amenities. To accommodate residents at both locations, the buildings include covered, controlled access parking on the first floor with three stories of housing located above the parking deck. Additionally, the adjacent, 153-acre Ann Morrison Park provides recreational space for residents, with gardens, athletic fields, picnic pavilions, access to the Boise River and much more.
Pinecrest Partners, a New York-based real estate private equity investment firm, is teaming with Carter to develop Vista. The firm has a reputation for creating high quality purpose-built student housing in close proximity to campuses at colleges and universities throughout the United States. In addition, The Preiss Company, the nation’s fourth largest, privately held student housing owner, will be the property manager.
