Capstone Closes $6M MHC Sale in Wisconsin

Capstone Manufactured Housing has brokered the sale of Marshfield Mobile Home Park, a 190-site manufactured housing community in Marshfield, Wash. According to public records, the property traded for $5.5 million, more than double it sold for the last time it changed ownership, at the end of 2017.

Located at 2215 S. Maple Ave., the community is adjacent to the Wildwood Zoo and close to several dining options. In addition, Marshfield Municipal Airport is one mile away, while Marshfield Medical Center is almost 3 miles north of the community.

Spread across more than 27 miles, Marshfield Mobile Home Park is the largest manufactured housing community situated within a qualified opportunity zone. The property was 71 percent occupied at the time of sale.   

In mid-August, Capstone Manufactured Housing arranged the sale of Sun Meadows Mobile Homes, a 288-site community in Alvin, Texas. The asset was almost fully occupied at the time of sale.
