Crown Communities has acquired West Edge Park, a manufactured housing community in Auburn, Ind. The Dickman family built the 660-site community in 1965 and operated the property for more than 50 years. The late Burt Dickman was inducted last year into the RV/MH Hall of Fame.

Brian Hummell, Kevan Enger, Ian Hilpl and Hunter LaRocca from Capstone’s Manufactured Housing division closed the deal.

Located at 1112 W. Seventh St. just off Interstate 69, the property is spread across 123 acres in a Qualified Opportunity Zone. The asset is steps from several dining and retail choices, including a Walmart Supercenter and a Kroger. Additionally, the community is less than 23 miles north of Fort Wayne, Ind. West Edge Park features both a volleyball and a basketball court.

In mid-April, Shopoff Realty Investments purchased a 611-lot manufactured housing community portfolio in Illinois. The company intends to implement improvements at the two assets, streamline operations and address the 112 lots currently vacant across the portfolio.
