BWI Breaks Ground on Indiana Senior Community
Gardant Management Solutions will manage the 130-unit affordable community in Anderson, set to open in fall 2021.

Construction is underway on Sweet Galilee of Anderson at the Wigwam, a 111,000-square-foot affordable assisted living community in Anderson, Ind. BWI LLC is the owner and developer, while Gardant Management Solutions will act as manager of the 130-unit property.
The site is positioned at 1315 John St., next to the Jane Pauley Community Health Center and roughly 40 miles from central Indianapolis. Rising four stories, the building will provide studio and one-bedroom apartments.
Sweet Galilee will offer on-site common amenities, including lounges and a café, private dining room, fitness center, theater, physical therapy room and library/computer room. All living units will include a kitchenette, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, as well as emergency alert systems. Certified nursing staff will be available at all times.
American Structurepoint was the architect, while T&W Construction and BWI Contractors will oversee the construction process. Sweet Galilee of Anderson is scheduled to open by the fall of 2021.
Earlier in September, another Gardant-managed affordable senior community in Indiana welcomed its first residents. Heritage Woods of Newburgh provides 120 assisted living units across three stories.
