New York—The Stahl Organization and Halstead Property Development Marketing have announced that the 53-story hybrid residential building 388 Bridge Street in Brooklyn is 75 percent leased. The 378-unit, mixed-use building includes 234 rental units, 104 condominiums and 40 penthouse residences. Leasing for the rental component began earlier this year and has been of interest to young professionals, young couples and families.

“388 Bridge Street has become the premier destination for renters looking in Downtown Brooklyn and the leasing velocity at the building reflects that,” says Gregg Wolpert, co-president of the Stahl Organization. “Representatives from the Stahl Organization and brokers from Halstead Property Development Marketing have received exceptional feedback in regards to the condo-like layouts, amenities and service provided by the building’s staff. We expect that the remaining 55 apartments will be fully leased by this fall.”

The SLCE-designed rental units are located between the building’s 7th and 31st floors. Architectural features of those units include floor-to-ceiling windows, 9-foot ceilings, open kitchens and an abundance of storage space—a rarity for apartments in Brooklyn. Other in-unit features include three-inch gray wash white oak flooring, kitchens with dark grey quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and textured grey cabinets with stainless steel banding, as well as bathrooms designed with vertical-stacked tiles, white quartz sink decks, ceramic sinks and polished chrome faucets. Washers and dryers are included in all apartments as well.

Amenities comprise more than 8,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space and are available to both owners and renters. The package includes a shared rooftop terrace equipped with barbecue grills, a lounge and party room with kitchen pantry, a children’s playroom, a media/screening room and a fitness center. Additionally, the fifth floor includes an outdoor terrace with grilling area, children’s playground and ipe-wood deck for dining and lounging.

Other services and amenities include a doorman, 24-hour concierge, bike storage, pet spa, laundry room, a 24/7 on-site attended parking garage and all residents have access to the 15,000-square-foot, membership-only Manhattan Athletic Club located on the building’s ground floor.

The community is located within walking distance of shopping, dining and entertainment venues as well as 12 subway lines and the Long Island Railroad.

The remaining 55 rental units range in size from 491 square feet to 1,166 square feet. Studios start at $2,730 per month, while one- and two-bedroom apartments start at $3,340 and $4,975, respectively.
