The Fowler, a seven-story, 159-unit multifamily community, is set to open this month in central Boise, Idaho. LocalConstruct, the owner and developer of the building, began construction work in February of 2016. The project was designed by Holst Architecture and is targeting LEED Gold certification, potentially making it the first Boise mid-rise to do so.

Located at 505 W. Broad St., the property’s .9-acre site sits between Front Street and Myrtle Street, providing direct access to Interstate 184. The building features six floors of apartments above two ground-floor retail units. The community’s studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments range in size from 480 to 885 square feet, and monthly rents begin at $1,100 per month. The building includes a number of resident amenities such as bike storage, covered parking, a fitness center, in-unit washers and dryers, dog walking services and a shared hybrid vehicle for resident use.

“We are thrilled to bring The Fowler to market and to address the growing demand for urban housing in Boise,” said LocalConstruct CEO Casey Lynch, in a prepared statement. “Our pre-leasing has received a tremendous response from residents looking to live an urban lifestyle and take advantage of downtown Boise’s many cultural amenities.”
