Bocchi USA, a kitchen and bathroom products manufacturer, has introduced a new apron-front farmhouse sink with an oversized functionality and space-saving design. The product is called Forte, and it features a slim profile and a blend of natural materials that allows its wall thickness to be cut nearly in half compared to traditional fireclay sinks.

Using both fireclay and aluminum, the sink’s increased strength allows for thinner walls. As a result, the interior basin size functionally increases with approximately 15 to 20 percent more cubic volume, offering more room to maneuver pots and pans.

“Forte features all the oversized serviceability consumers are seeking without the bulky, countertop-depriving construction that so often comes along with similar roominess,” Bocchi CEO Akgun Seckiner said, in prepared remarks.

The product is available in nine colors, including white, black and gray—in both matte and glossy finishes—as well as sapphire blue, biscuit and brown.
