West End at City Center

A joint venture between BH Cos. and Cantor Fitzgerald has acquired the 309-unit West End at City Center, a multifamily property in Lenexa, Kan. The transaction was brokered by Newmark. The seller, LivCor, purchased the Class A property back in 2017, in a portfolio sale, according to Yardi Matrix data.

Completed in 2009, West End at City Center encompasses 13 two-and three-story buildings with one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging between 729 and 1,471 square feet. Common-area amenities include a fitness center, clubhouse, business center, swimming pool and picnic area with grilling stations. Units offer washers and dryers, private balconies or patios and detached garages for select units.

Located at 17410 W. 86th Terrace, the property is close to W. 87th Street Parkway and Interstate 435, with many dining options, entertainment venues and retail spaces nearby, including the 200-acre Lenexa City Center, Lenexa Public Market, Hen House Market, Country Hill Center and Urban Air Trampoline and Adventures Park. Green areas like Central Green Park, Canyon Falls Golf Club, Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park and Indian Trails Aquatic Center are within 2 miles.

West End at City Center is BH Cos. and Cantor Fitzgerald’s seventh multifamily acquisition. Newmark recently brokered the $85 million sale of a luxury multifamily community in Surprise, Ariz.
