Berkadia Launches Investment Client Services Division

Horsham, Pa.–Berkadia has launched Berkadia Investment Client Services, a new line of business providing commercial real estate investment sales services nationwide. The new division will be led by Managing Director Stephannie Mower, who has joined the firm as national head of Investment Client Services. Headquartered in Dallas, the Investment Client Services team has added seven seasoned professionals to provide investment sales expertise to initiate this national platform. The new division will operate independently from Berkadia’s servicing and loan origination businesses.

Mower’s previous experience includes her most recent role as executive director and head of Dallas Capital Markets for Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, where she led a team that in 2010 closed nearly 60 transactions on behalf of developers, institutions and special-asset clients. She also instituted the third-party services division with Insignia Financial Group and served as a front line executive in the acquisition of 67 firms in 11 years.

Berkadia has introduced several significant growth initiatives in recent months, including a proprietary lending program for originating fixed-rate loans for inclusion in the new generation of commercial mortgage-backed securities. Additionally, in March, the firm announced a new program to provide floating-rate bridge loans.
