Bainbridge Breaks Ground on Charlotte Luxury Community

Bainbridge Cos. has broken ground on Bainbridge Mallard Creek, a 320-unit luxury community in Charlotte, N.C. The future property is scheduled to open by fall 2025, with final construction completion planned by summer 2026.

The future development will cover a 15-acre site and will consist of five buildings. The units will have one- to three-bedroom layouts ranging in size from 783 to 1,370 square feet. Community amenities will include a resort-style pool with a sundeck, clubhouse with a kitchen and a coffee bar, outdoor living room, coworking space, dog park and fitness center.  

The property will be at 2610 Beard Road, near interstates 485 and 85, as well as Mallard Creek Road and Ridge Road. Downtown Charlotte is less than 16 miles southwest of the development site. Most eateries and retail options in the area are at Concord Mills shopping mall on Concord Mills Boulevard, some 2 miles away.

Bainbridge Cos. has developed and manages several properties in Charlotte. The company’s management portfolio includes Ayrsley Lofts and Matthews Square Apartments, located at 9336 Kings Parade Blvd. and 4010 Waiting St., both some 25 miles from Bainbridge Mallard Creek.  

As for recent developments in Bainbridge’s portfolio, last month the company opened Bainbridge Midlothian, its first property in the Greater Richmond, Va., area. The project is a 310-unit community situated near the Midlothian Turnpike.
