Aventon Starts NoVa Luxury Community
Aventon Moorefield marks the developer’s fourth project in the region.
Aventon Cos. has broken ground on Aventon Moorefield, a 425-unit luxury community in Ashburn, Va. Scheduled to open for leasing in early 2026, the six-story property marks the multifamily developer’s fourth project in the region.
The development team includes Dwell Design Studios, which leads the architectural efforts, and Carlyn & Co., which oversees interior design.
Located at 43601 Charitable St., the project is less than 2 miles from Virginia State Route 267 and some 6 miles from Dulles International Airport, as well as roughly 30 miles from downtown Washington, D.C. Dining and retail options such as Chick-fil-A or Home Depot are situated within less than 2 miles from the property.
Aventon Moorefield will feature studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging between 582 and 1,657 square feet. Amenities will include a clubroom, a lounge, a fitness center, a pool, a courtyard and over a dozen electric vehicle charging stations.
Aventon’s pipeline in Northern Virginia exceeds 1,500 units, according to Yardi Matrix data. The company’s earliest project completion is scheduled for the tail end of 2024’s first quarter, when a 366-unit partially affordable community in Alexandria, Va., is expected to open, the same data provider shows. Northern Virginia’s development pipeline consists of more than 12,000 units, with some 6,800 expected to come online by the end of the year, according to the same source.
