In this edition of NAAEI’s Apartment Jobs Snapshot, job openings in the apartment industry remained robust during the second quarter of 2019. Openings in the apartment sector comprised 38 percent of positions available in the real estate sector, well above the average of 30.1 percent. Available maintenance positions had a significant year-over-year increase, up by 2.6 percent. Since 2014, positions requiring skills in Yardi Software, team collaboration and time management have notably increased. Denver, Austin, and Raleigh markets topped the charts for apartment job demand.
