Apartment Jobs Snapshot for February 2019

More than 8,000 apartment jobs were available across the country during February, representing 36.8 percent of the real estate sector, just under last month’s figure. Denver placed in the top five markets for the third month in a row, slightly edged out by Indianapolis. This month’s edition highlights the leasing consultant, where the greatest concentration of demand was in Austin. Median market salaries were below $28,000 per year, but most employers would consider candidates with less than two years of experience, yet another sign of a tight labor market.
