Apartment Industry Raises $61,000 For Wounded Warrior Project

The NMHC Walk for Our Troops raised $61,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project recently, supporting an important program that aids veterans who suffered service-related injuries on or after September 11, 2001.

Boca Raton, Fla.–The inaugural National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) Walk for Our Troops raised $61,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project recently, supporting an important program that aids veterans who suffered service-related injuries on or after September 11, 2001. The charity 3K walk/5K run took place during the 2012 NMHC Annual Meeting in Boca Raton, FL.

The Wounded Warrior Project offers free programs designed to heal injured veterans and provides tools for economic empowerment. The walk drew participation from nearly 200 apartment professionals.
