Corpus Christi, Texas—Houston-based Allied Orion Group has been selected to manage a 417-unit South Texas military housing portfolio comprising two properties in the Corpus Christi/Aransas Pass area. Naval Air Station Corpus Christi (NASCC) and Windy Shores in Aransas Pass, Texas, are the two recent additions to the residential management company’s portfolio.

NASCC base housing, located at 11001 D. St. in Corpus Christi, provides two-, three-, and four-bedroom pet-friendly units. The long list of onsite amenities includes a golf course, bowling alley, on-base security, pool, youth activity center, fishing pier, boat slip, dog park, basketball fields and fitness center. Located 20 minutes away from Corpus Christi’s core, the 262-unit community sits very close to the naval air station and within easy reach of numerous dining and retail options alongside the JFK Memorial Causeway.

The 55-acre, 155-unit pet-friendly Windy Shores is located at 2255 McMullen Lane in Aransas Pass, Texas. Providing an off-base housing option for both military personnel and civilians, the community has two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes. According to Yardi Matrix, the property is owned by Landmark Consolidated and units range from 1,488 to 1,686 square feet. The 78-building Windy Shores offers a spa, clubroom, two swimming pools, basketball court, tennis court, business center, fitness center, washer/dryer hookups and microwave ovens in all units, sand volleyball court, and nearby hiking and bike trails.

“We are pleased to be adding two military housing communities to our South Texas portfolio, and are looking forward to providing onsite, professional management services to the men and women of our armed forces,” said Kirk Tate, principal & CEO of Allied Orion Group, in a prepared statement.
