Alliance Residential Delivers Sacramento Senior Housing Project

Alliance Residential Co. has completed the construction of Sonrisa Senior Living, a 201-unit independent living community in Roseville, Calif. Milestone Retirement Communities is the property manager.

In November 2019, the developer secured a $46.7 million construction loan from PNC Bank, according to Placer County records. Alliance Residential Co. broke ground on the senior housing project the following August.

Located on more than 10 acres at 1031 Roseville Parkway, the three-story community features studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments with floorplans ranging from 612 to 1,167 square feet.

Amenities and location

Sonrisa Senior Living has various indoor and outdoor dining spots, a lounge with a bar, a bistro café, a fitness center, a spa, a swimming pool, a theater, a barbecue area, flower and vegetable gardening beds, bocce and pickleball courts, a beauty salon among many other community amenities. The property is pet friendly and includes a dog park along with an indoor washing station.

The property also has a range of services such as housekeeping, concierge, laundry and linen service, individually tailored wellness programs and organized transportation.

The senior living community is 2 miles from the Galleria Boulevard retail corridor. Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center, Roseville Golfland Sunsplash and Sierra View Country Club are within 4 miles of the property, 23 miles northeast of downtown Sacramento.

In June, a partnership between The Michaels Organization and Artemis Real Estate Partners secured construction financing for a 225-unit luxury development just outside Sacramento. The community in Davis is expected to open in early 2023.
