Evergreen Partners Housing has opened Evergreen Village at Fort Wayne, a 125-unit affordable senior housing community providing assisted living services in Fort Wayne, Ind. The Architectural Team Inc. designed the multimillion-dollar project, while T&W Corp. served as general contractor.

Evergreen Village at Fort Wayne occupies more than 5 acres at 12523 Auburn Road. The 105,000-square-foot, three-story building houses studios and one-bedroom units. Each apartment features a kitchenette and individually controlled heating and air conditioning, as well as an emergency alert system.

Common-area amenities include a bistro, private dining room, fitness center, TV room, recreation room/theater and general store, among others. Resident services vary from health monitoring and medication administration to housekeeping, laundry and transportation. Gardant Management Solutions manages the community.

The property is 10 miles north of downtown Fort Wayne and close to Interstate 69, with connections to the bike trail and Northeast Indiana United Trails. Parkview Regional Medical Center and Dupont Business & Medical Park are both within 2 miles of the senior community. Evergreen Village is also roughly 15 miles from another assisted living community which opened last April.
