Access Device Provides Key-Free Exits
Available in touchscreen or pushbutton models, the product from ASSA ABLOY offers greater building control for multifamily property owners.
Sweden’s ASSA ABLOY has released a new keypad access device that provides a key-free exit solution for multifamily properties. The Yale nexTouch Keypad Exit Trim serves as an upgrade or retrofit of exit devices such as push or panic bars, helping building owners upgrade from mechanical keys for greater efficiency and building control.
Available in touchscreen or pushbutton models, the product supports 500 unique user codes and has adjustable mounting posts that allow for installation on a variety of existing exit devices without the need for additional mounting hardware. The device also features a module in the back of the lock that supports a wireless access system or data-on-card, so more advanced security can be added as requirements evolve.
The exit trim device is available in various finishes and lever styles and has a 9V battery backup and privacy mode for enhanced security. The product meets ADA requirements and offers voice-guided programming in three languages.
