Newman Garrison + Partners, along with Lincoln Property Co., is set to build Elysian Park Lofts, a 923-unit, high-end community in Los Angeles. The project is planned to be completed in two phases and will feature a total of 21,406 square feet of retail space.
Located at 1030 – 1380 N. Broadway, the property will occupy eight acres east of the recently reopened Los Angeles State Historic Park and west of N. Broadway. The Elysian Park Lofts, as a transit oriented development, will be closely located to the metro line. Additionally, the construction is situated adjacent to Chinatown and Solano Canyon neighborhoods, which offer various dining and entertainment options.
The two phases of the construction include 469 units on the North parcel, featuring 8,070 square feet retail space, and 454 units on the South parcel with an additional 13,336 square feet space proposed for commercial use. Plans of the architect include a three-level, below grade concrete parking structure to maximize site efficiency. The development will focus on incorporating a live/work/play lifestyle environment.
