Gilbane Building Co. has reached a new phase in the construction of 1000 Park Avenue in Atlanta: the topping out of a 267-unit luxury residential tower in the Buckhead neighborhood. The project, developed by Wood Partners, kicked off last year in September and it is slated for completion by May 2018.
The 27-story development, at 1000 Park Ave., in the heart of Buckhead, situated closely to Phipps Plaza, offers many dining, shopping and entertainment options. 1000 Park Avenue will comprise a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units, ranging from 850 to 3,000 square feet. Community amenities will include:
- three-story parking deck
- private motor court
- private outdoor terrace and pool deck
- fitness center
- residential club
- sky lounge with covered outdoor terrace
“This project marks the third and final phase of a development Gilbane started more than 10 years ago with the construction of 700 Park Regency and 750 Park Avenue. I can’t say enough about our amazing team and the work they’ve done to bring this project to the topping out,” said Jeff George, vice president for the southeast division of Gilbane Building Co., in prepared remarks.
