112 NJAA Members and Guests Hit the Greens for Fun and Charity

112 New Jersey Apartment Association members braved record breaking heat and humidity to attend the NJAA Charitable Fund’s (Charitable Fund) annual golf tournament at Fiddlers Elbow Country Club in Bedminster to benefit its Charitable Fund’s Scholarship Program and Annual Children’s Holiday Party.

Monroe Township, N.J.—112 New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA) members and guests braved record breaking heat and humidity to attend the NJAA Charitable Fund’s (Charitable Fund) annual golf tournament at Fiddlers Elbow Country Club in Bedminster to benefit its Charitable Fund’s Scholarship Program and Annual Children’s Holiday Party. Since 2002, the NJAA Charitable Fund’s scholarship program has awarded over $52k to 30members, their employees, their families and/or residents of properties who have sought higher education. The annual children’s holiday party has been providing fun, food, and holiday gifts to more than 15,000 children since 1998.

Following the tournament, the organization hosted a reception and dinner where players were awarded for specialized men and woman’s contests. Rich Kovatch from SEBCO Laundry Systems, Inc. and Jane Schwartz of Wessex Management, LLC won 1st place for Closest to the Pin, Eric Schubert of Pride and Service Elevators won 1stplace for Longest Drive, Dan Diehl from Hess Corporation won 1st place for Straightest Drive and Josh Simon of EBI Consulting won 1st place in the Putting Contest. Two teams were recognized as Top Foursome Scores and first place was awarded to Jim Jenkinson and Doug Dickman of Wilmar, Tom Wagner of Omnipress, and Bob Arthur of Comcast.  Second place was awarded to Wink Mather of Acadia Windows and Doors, Lionel Kier of Trent Center, and from C.J. Lombardo Company, Jerry and Andrew Lombardo.
