A gourmet restaurant will provide food service to the apartments and the pool. “This project offers something in between a hotel and an apartment,” John Hitchcox, co-founder and CEO of YOO, tells MHN. “The development delivers avant-garde design, relaxation and comfort in the trademark YOO inspired by Starck style.”“Most of the buyers are investors and holidayers from the U.S., Argentina and other South American countries,” says Hitchcox. “There are a lot of villas and hotels in this city, so this is a unique project for people interested in investing here.”YOO’s project is flanked by Playa Brava and Playa Mansa in the hub of the new Art District in Punta del Este, a city that looks like much like little Switzerland, according to Hitchcox. The project features one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, as well as four luxurious three-bedroom penthouses ranging in price from $70,000 to $200,000. Other amenities include a business center with meeting rooms and a cyber room with computers and Wi-Fi access for residents.
