Yardi and WhiteFence Take Step to Make Moving into Apartments Easier
- Oct 24, 2013
Santa Barbara, Calif.—A new Yardi® and WhiteFence software integration will allow apartment renters to select electric, cable, Internet, phone and rental appliances online immediately upon signing a lease. These services, along with other resources including registering address changes with the U.S. Postal Service, will soon be available at one stop.
Under the Yardi-WhiteFence alignment, leasing agents will be able to complete leases with prospects using Yardi Leasing Pad™ and seamlessly direct residents to the WhiteFence platform to set up utilities and important home services. Renters can also lease an apartment online through RENTCafé™ and immediately equip their new residence with everything they need.
“WhiteFence offers a valuable service to renters when they move in,” said Terri Dowen, senior vice president of sales for Yardi. “Yardi’s online leasing capability makes it much easier and efficient for renters to select essential home services through WhiteFence at the same time that they execute their leases and sign up for our renters insurance.”
The WhiteFence marketplace helps renters find the best products at the best prices among locally and nationally respected providers of television, Internet, phone and other home services. WhiteFence also provides toll-free access to a live, knowledgeable “personal moving assistant” who can walk renters through the numerous choices of providers and packages.
“Our mission is, and always has been, delighting movers by making life easier for them. The combination of WhiteFence and Yardi is a revolutionary step for the apartment mover,” said Franc Arbide, chief strategy officer for WhiteFence.
