William Neville & Sons Begins Construction on New Westchester County Condos
- May 12, 2014
Larchmont, N.Y.—Work has started on the Cambrium, a new-construction condo development at 10 Bryon Pl. in Larchmont, N.Y. Once complete next year, the property will include one- and two-bedroom residences, as well as a number of penthouse units, totaling 149 units all together. The developer is William Neville & Sons, based in County Wexford, Ireland.
Prices range from $515,000 to $1.15 million, with occupancy anticipated for the third quarter 2015. The property will also feature a three-level, elevator-accessible parking garage with over 270 spaces. Construction of that structure was recently completed.
Amenities will include a 24-hour doorman and onsite concierge, a private courtyard, and the Larchmont Room—a gathering place for residents—a private dining room and catering kitchen, a clubroom and a fitness center with a movement studio and a bike room. Every residence includes one parking spot in the parking garage, with a second space available for purchase; EV charging stations are also available.
According to Ceres Realty Group principal John Myers, who’s managing the development, the Cambium will meet a growing demand for new construction residences in Larchmont, where demand is high, but inventory consists mostly of older buildings. Larchmont is in Westchester County, N.Y., roughly 20 miles from Manhattan.
The property will be the first condo development in the suburb since the 1980s; earlier plans for the site called for rental apartments, but they never materialized. Houlihan Lawrence, which specializes in New York City’s northern suburbs, is the sales and marketing agent for the property.
