- Oct 15, 2014
Downtown Nashville now boasts another hotel with the opening of the 126-key Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Nashville Downtown at The Gulch. Developed by Vision Hospitality Group of Chattanooga, Tenn., the project had a price tag of $17.5 million or about $139,000 per key, as previously reported. The recently opened hotel features 95 guestrooms and 31 suites, 1,097 square feet of meeting space, fitness center, an indoor whirlpool and on-site parking. The eight-story hotel also features Music City’s first rooftop lounge, Up. The independent rooftop bar is set to open in December.
The hotel boasts a modern design, in order to fit into the contemporary architecture of the neighborhood. To further weave itself into the fabric of The Gulch, a LEED Green neighborhood since 2009, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Nashville Downtown at The Gulch will pursue LEED certification.
“Our continued partnership with Marriott reinforces our ongoing strategy to invest in premium brands in growing markets. We look forward to becoming a contributing member of this thriving neighborhood,” says Vision President & CEO Mitch Patel, adding “We are thrilled to be continuing our expansion in the Nashville market.”
Vision currently owns four operational hotels in the Greater Nashville Area and has four additional properties in its development pipeline, with a fifth one, the Residence Inn by Marriott Nashville SE/Murfreesboro set to open later this month.
