Trio of Developers to Bring First Major Luxury Community to Village of Tuckahoe, NY

Weehawken, N.J.—A joint venture between Mack-Cali subsidiary Roseland, Glen M. Vetromile of Glenco Group and Phil Raffiani of Mirado Properties has announced the ground breaking on a 108-unit mixed-use luxury project on Main Street in the Village of Tuckahoe, N.Y.
The transit-oriented rental community will be located at 150 Main Street, just off of Midland Avenue and about three blocks from the Tuckahoe, N.Y. Train Station, which provides direct rail access to Grand Central Station in Manhattan.
At four stories, the building will comprise 61 one-bedroom and 47-two-bedroom apartments, with 3,500 square feet of ground-level retail space, and a host of other luxury amenities and services.
“This is a very important development project for Tuckahoe,” says the city’s Mayor, Steve Ecklond. “It’s the largest development project we have seen here in 15 years, and what’s important to us is it finishes up our Main Street corridor. This beautiful new building will act as a gateway into our community, and we believe it will bring in transit-oriented residents, most likely people who work in Manhattan who will be walking to the train station.”
Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners provided architectural design, with landscape architecture coming from Melillo & Bauer Associates. Apartment interiors will feature upscale finishes such as hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances and marble countertops, and will also include in-unit washers and dryers. Interior amenities include a fitness center with state-of-the-art exercise equipment and yoga studio, as well as a club room.
Outdoors, residents will have access to an expansive outdoor terrace with gardens, a water feature, large freestanding stone fireplace pit paired with a seating area and an outdoor kitchen for private entertaining.

Completion of the property, and opening of the leasing office, is expected in the fourth quarter of 2015, with occupancy beginning shortly after in early 2016.
