- Apr 10, 2018
Tishman Speyer has released preliminary details about 11 Hoyt, a planned 480-unit luxury residential tower in Brooklyn, N.Y., which will launch sales this summer.
“11 Hoyt’s broad unit mix and variety of layouts—over 190 unique floorplans are included in the building’s 480 residences—make it an extremely appealing option for discerning buyers looking for unique and thoughtfully designed homes,” Erik Rose, Tishman Speyer’s managing director of residential development, told MHN. “11 Hoyt will also offer residents over 55,000-plus square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities, which is unprecedented among the other projects in the neighborhood.”
In addition to the expansive amenity program, the development will also feature on-site parking and an off-street motor court drop off for residents.
Designed by renowned architecture and urban design firm, Studio Gang, under the direction of architect Jeanne Gang, the development will be Tishman Speyer’s first ground up condominium project in New York City. Interior design will be done by London-based firm Michaelis Boyd Associates.
“11 Hoyt is destined to become Downtown Brooklyn’s most desirable new address,” Rob Speyer, Tishman Speyer’s CEO, said. “We are honored to collaborate with such a talented group of globally-minded and innovative design partners to launch our first ground up condominium offering in New York City.”
Centrally located in the heart of Brooklyn, the development borders both Downtown Brooklyn and brownstone Brooklyn.
“Downtown Brooklyn is a dynamic location with exceptional shopping, culture and restaurants and convenient access to a number of subway lines into Manhattan and elsewhere,” Rose said
Tishman Speyer has acquired, developed and operated a portfolio of more than 172 million square feet with a total value of approximately $81 billion spread over 394 assets, which includes New York City’s Rockefeller Center and Chrysler Center.
