Dallas—Riverstone Residential Group, a privately-owned, third-party multifamily property management company, launched a new telecommunications initiative called Riverstone Telecom.

With this new service, property owners can select value-added services such as bundled cable, high-speed Internet access, Wi-fi hotspots and campus systems. Additionally, there are expense reduction opportunities for fire and intrusion alarm systems, 911 emergency phones, business office telephony, high-speed Internet access service and project management services.

Residents can also take advantage of Riverstone Telecom. The services provide full access to news, information and resources, with the benefit of allowing everything to be provided together, instead of having to talk to multiple off-site providers.

“Riverstone Telecom highlights our commitment to visionary services that focus on generating optimal client returns,” Walt Smith, CEO, Riverstone Residential Group, tell MHN.

Greg McDonald, who has 25 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry, will head Riverstone Telecom. McDonald will oversee Riverstone Telecom’s custom consultation program, which evaluates a property’s current telecommunication program, and then provides owners with service recommendations based on their property’s resident base and available options.

“Our strong relationships with property owners, along with data from our local markets, have yielded insights into the types of services that add bottom-line benefits for our clients,” Smith said in a statement. “We are steadfast in our commitment to dedicating resources to the creation of next-generation services.”
