Tarragon Corp., URSA Development Hold Tour of Newest Hoboken Rental

N.J.—Tarragon Corp., based in New York, and Hoboken-based URSA Development Group recently held a hard hat tour for prospective renters and leasing agents of their newest building in Hoboken, dubbed 800 Madison. Those on the tour could get a feel for the space, finishes and amenities, despite the project still being under construction.The project is Tarragon and URSA’s sixth residential development in a joint venture to build an all-new neighborhood in the Upper Grand area of Hoboken. When complete, the neighborhood will include 1,400 residences, including mid-rise and high-rise developments, and 14,000 sq. ft. of retail space. The j.v.’s other projects include 1000 Jefferson and 1118 Adams, as well as three sold-out properties–1200 Grand, 1300 Grand and 1100 Adams.The six-story, 217-unit 800 Madison offers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, with monthly rents ranging from $2,250 to $5,000. Units feature hardwood floors, nine-ft. ceilings and gourmet kitchens with granite breakfast bars or center islands, energy-efficient GE Profile stainless steel appliances, Kohler faucets and contemporary Shaker-style cabinetry. Many residences also include brownstone “stoop” entries, French balconies or terraces.Amenities include the Figure 8 Fitness Center; Club 800 Resident Lounge, which features a flat-screen TV, billiards table and a Wii wall; and a rooftop terrace. Additionally, the Aqua Lounge offers residents a courtyard pool, hot tub, sun deck and lounge chairs, and a trellis-covered area with a gas grill and outdoor fire pit.Easily accessible to Manhattan, the Upper Grand development is located three blocks from the Hudson/Bergen Light rail station and three blocks from a NJ Transit bus stop.
