Stone & Pewter Accents Introduces Penny Rounds Mosaic Glass Tiles
- Feb 15, 2011
Los Angeles–Stone & Pewter Accents has introduced the Penny Rounds line of mosaic tiles made from recycled opaque glass. The tiles come in 13 different styles, each available in Pearl and Silk finishes. Each tile comes paper-faced for easy installation.
The marbleized mosaic tiles are hand-poured, a processs that gives each tile a certain degree of variation in color, tone and shade. The creases, wrinkles and bubbles on the surface of each tile are designed to catch and reflect all types of light.
Penny Rounds mosaic tiles were designed for use as kitchen backsplashes, shower surrounds and really any vertical surface where glass can add color and light. The tile shown in the photo is Penny Rounds in Storm Blue with a silk finish.
