Sterling Celebrates Opening of Class A Knoxville Community

Knoxville, Tenn.—Indiana-based The Sterling Group has announced the grand opening of its newest Class A apartment asset in Knoxville, Tenn. The community, Wellsley Park at Deane Hill, will add 249 units to that market. The grand opening marked the completion of half of the projects buildings, with the remaining units expected to deliver in the next two months. The entire project is expected to complete by the end of September.
“Wellsley Park reflects the vision of The Sterling Group, who, along with our partners, Braxton Development, has developed,” says Larry Swank II, assistant vice president of Sterling Construction. “We are committed to creating exceptional apartment homes for people to live, blending excellent locations, high-quality construction and a broad array of lifestyle amenities.”
Located at the northwest corner of Wellsley Park Road and Deane Hill in Knoxville, the new community offers a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units that feature views of the area. Unit interiors feature upscale finishes including granite countertops, woodgrain flooring and a full-size washer and dryer. Select units include attached garages and detached garages are also available.
The amenities package, once completed, will include a resident clubhouse, Cyber Café with Wi-Fi media room and a fitness center with an adjacent tot room, in addition to the community’s resort-style swimming pool that features an arbor, grills and fire pit area, a bocce ball court, a car care center and recycling center.
“This community offers residents a comfortable lifestyle with amenities and finishes typically found in upscale, single family homes,” says John Ehrhardt, assistant vice president of Sterling Management. “We recognize the importance of community and Wellsley Park is setting the standard in West Knoxville as the finest most aesthetically-pleasing and functionally-designed apartment home community in the market. Wellsley Park is close to everything, but nothing comes close.”
The community was designed by Decatur, Ga.-based SGN+A and Denver-based Studio 4D managed the clubhouse and the models’ interior design. Sterling Management will manage the property.
