St. Louis–The Opus Group along with AIG Global Real Estate have broken ground on a multi-use development in St. Louis’s historic Central West End. The concept, designed by Minneapolis-based ESG Architects, will feature 217 apartment units with 10,000 square feet of retail space and parking for retail customers on the ground level. A fall 2016 completion date is expected.
Located at the corner of Lindell and Euclid in the heart of Central West End, the 12-story project is designed to blend with surrounding structures. “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to offer a modern, upscale living option in the Central West End,” says Joe Downs, senior director of real estate development, Opus Development Company LLC. “The start of this project represents the culmination of a community effort in bringing this vision to fruition.”
Each unit includes granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, high ceilings and balconies. Residents can choose from alcove, one and two bedroom apartments. Penthouses will be available on the top two floors. Amenities include a fitness center, pool terrace with outdoor grilling space and fire pits, bar and club rooms, a dog wash and full-time concierge services. Facilities such as guest suites, underground parking, secure bike and resident storage with an area for bike maintenance will also be available.
Opus Development Company is the developer and Opus Design Build is the design-builder. Opus AE Group is the architect and structural engineer of record.
