Renters might not list package delivery systems as an important amenity—that is, until they don’t receive their package. This month, MHN and Kingsley Associates find out what residents think of their community’s package and mail delivery systems.
❝ The delivery of Fed Ex and UPS items needs to be better managed. We are never notified that there are items that have been delivered.❞
❝ I can’t use the mail box. People steal my mail. ❞
❝ I feel safe here. The mail kiosk is well-lit, as is
the property. ❞
❝ Notify tenants by email or phone call/voice mail if they have a package that was delivered to the front office. ❞
❝ The leasing office has a tendency to not be able to find packages. After finding them a couple days later, they laugh like it was something to joke about. ❞
❝ It would be nice if one day a week the office either opened early or closed late. That way if I need to get a package, I don’t have to wait until Saturday. ❞
❝ Had a package lost/stolen from the office. They need to have more security if they are going to accept packages. ❞

❝ I would appreciate email notification for packages. ❞
❝ There should always be staff that is available in the office to assist current residents while others are out showing units. Many times I have had to wait 30 minutes to get my packages. ❞
