Snaidero USA Adds Line of Green Cabinets, Aims to Serve Eco-Friendly Multi-Housing Developers

The new line is in addition to its existing E1/ISO 14001 certified products.LEED standards are used in a growing number of projects throughout the U.S. and North America to foster sustainable building development. Compliance with these regulations usually means that the project will receive LEED points towards achieving potential silver/gold/platinum certification by the USGBC.With greater knowledge of the needs of the U.S. market, and the effort of the research and development department of Snaidero Rino, the Italian manufacturer of high-end kitchen cabinetry, Snaidero USA plans to manufacture an array of products using materials, component parts and production processing that meet the LEED criteria for low emissions pertaining to the “No Added Urea Formaldehyde resins” specification.All aspects of the cabinetry, including fronts, box construction elements and panels of this most recent production are designed specifically to comply with the LEED requirements.Cabinet doors will be available in several finishes, including:Wood: light oak, dark oak, Oxford cherry, teak and “Canaletto” walnut;Matte and high gloss lacquer: in all the colors offered by Snaidero;High pressure laminates; andMatte polymeric laminate.Snaidero USA believes that with this new line, it will be able to serve the needs of today’s “eco-friendly” builders and developers operating in the multi-housing industry.(PICTURED: Sistema Zeta model in Dark Oak and Ice white high gloss lacquer, which Snaidero will be offering with materials and components that meet LEED standards.)
