Silverman Joins Perkins Eastman as Principal

Washington, D.C.–Sandy Silverman, AIA, has joined design and architecture firm Perkins Eastman as a principal. He joins the growing Washington, D.C. office with 35 years of experience in multifamily housing, senior living, mixed-use, and other commercial and institutional building types—a portfolio that includes 10,000 units of multifamily housing. The company expects that his experience will help grow its Mid-Atlantic practice.
Prior to joining Perkins Eastman, Silverman was a principal at Lessard Design as well as the Founding Principal of Dorksy Hodgson Parrish Yue’s Washington, D.C. office. He has been published in a variety of industry magazines, and serves regularly as a speaker at professional conferences and panel discussions. He is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
