- Oct 15, 2015
“The opening of Sheraton Chuzhou Hotel is yet another example of Starwood’s most global hotel brand continuing its aggressive growth in strategic markets all over the world,” Dave Marr, global brand leader for Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, said.
Sheraton Chuzhou in fact marks the brand’s 70th hotel in the Chinese region, bringing Sheraton’s total number of properties in Asia Pacific to more than 110.
Chuzhou is located in eastern Anhui Province near Nanjing. The new hotel is ideally situated in Zhengwu Centre, near the city’s new central business district, a retail mall, shops and a theatre, and just 90 minutes from Nanjing Lukou International Airport. Nearby touristic attractions include an ancient Ming Dynasty imperial tomb, as well as Mount Langya – a national scenic spot which is home to the highly regarded Tang Dynasty Buddhist Langya Temple, the South Heavenly Gate, and the famed Zuiwong (Old Drunkard).
Guests at Sheraton Chuzhou may enjoy stunning city views alongside luxurious accommodations and amenities, such as the brand’s signature fitness center, an indoor heated pool and luxury spa, club room and club lounge. Furthermore, two distinctive dining venues offer an array of culinary options—from international cuisine to Cantonese favorites. The hotel also provides nearly 17,000 square feet of conference space, including a grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,200 people.
As Starwood’s largest and most global brand, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts currently has more than 440 hotels in more than 72 countries around the world.
