The DuPont Corian Terra Collection of surfacings contains pre-consumer recycled material and can be used in a variety of applications including kitchen and bathroom countertops, backsplashes, wet bars, tub decks and tub and shower surrounds. Corian is non-porous and with proper cleaning resists growth of mold, mildew or bacteria.Available in 25 colors, the collection includes warm neutrals and jewel tones. Seven of the colors of the Terra Collection are certified by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) to have at least 13 percent pre-consumer recycled material and 18 of the colors are made with at least 6 percent pre-consumer recycled content.All Corian colors can help contribute toward credits in the U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System in categories including Materials and Resources (MR) Building Reuse, MR Materials Reuse, MR Regional Materials, Environmental Quality (EQ) Low Emitting Materials–Adhesives and Sealants.The surfaces are low-VOC emitting, nonporous and GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified. They also have the GREENGUARD for Children & Schools Certification.In addition, Corian’s durability and its ability to be easily renewed and repaired also contribute to sustainable design. The surface can be removed, re-cut and reinstalled as a new design or seamlessly reworked into new applications.The price per sq. ft. is approximately $40 to $75. It comes with a 10-year residential installed transferable limited warranty from DuPont.
